I recently have started indigo dyeing again & had completely forgotten how wonderful it is to do.
I had done a lot in the past but it does take some time to set up so had left it for a while.
It all started with me looking at the sky & the blue & white patterns created by the clouds.
I then went on to do research via mood boards…by cutting up old magazines, adding my
photographs, paint cards, fabric & paints. This was such good fun in itself.
I then got on with the actual dyeing!
I love what I produced, the scarves & doilies in particular and the scarves are now becoming my wardrobe staple with jeans.
So if you fancy having a go too I am now running courses at my North Yorkshire studio in indigo
dyeing. It is £66 for the day & I have a feeling you will be as hooked as me afterwards!
